Graland Launches Music Enrichment Program
As part of our commitment to serving the educational needs of our families, Fall 2017 was the start of Graland’s new music enrichment program. An enhancement to our afterschool enrichment offerings, the music program continues to provide private and group music lessons to students before and after school.
Led by music teacher Justin Miera, the program features instructors who specialize in piano, guitar, strings, and band instruments. All our music teachers were vetted through the Graland hiring process and demonstrate a high caliber of character and ability.
“Our goal with music enrichment is to provide a variety of in-depth musical experiences for all age levels,” shares Mr. Miera. “Making these activities available on campus is a great benefit for everyone in our community. Families don’t have to travel, adjunct teachers make connections to curricular content, and children have the opportunity to perform with and for their peers and teachers.”
With more than 70 students participating in music enrichment, the program’s inaugural year was a great success!
