Graland Country Day School is a giving place. It is made up of students, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, alumni, trustees and friends who give of themselves and who give back to the school and its community. Gifts of time, talent and treasure are abundant here and for this, we are grateful.

 

With regard to gifts of treasure, as in most independent schools, Graland relies on charitable gifts through the annual fund and the school’s endowment to supplement tuition income as part of our annual budget. Our 2017-18 fundraising success is attributable to both the broad donor community who shares its collective support as well as the philanthropic leaders who generously provide funds that have great immediate impact on each and every teacher, student and program at Graland - every day.

 

Additionally, hundreds of parents offered their gifts of time and talent for the annual fund, for the Graland Parent Association and beyond this past year. I wish to likewise extend my appreciation to these volunteers who contribute so much energy, expertise, and enthusiasm to our school.

 

Graland is incredibly grateful to list in this report the individuals, families and organizations who provided more than 1,000 gifts to the 2017-18 fiscal year. From annual fund support to gifts-in-kind; from endowed gifts to GPA sponsorships; Graland wishes to express gratitude for each and every one of these contributions. Every gift counts.
