Graland Parent Association
Parent involvement is vital to the school’s success and to creating a community of inclusivity and acceptance. In the past year, the Graland Parent Association (GPA) continued its mission to support the School, foster community, promote volunteerism and raise funds for the benefit of the school community.
GPA leadership also developed a closer working relationship with the Graland administration, including a more focused strategy with regards to fundraising, finances and financial sustainability. Events and activities hosted by the GPA were streamlined to better align with the School’s Mission and Guiding Principles.
Social events such as the new Celebration of Cultures Family Dinner and the Birch Street Bash brought the community together while continued fundraising through the Graland Gallop and the Eagle Invitational Golf Tournament provided needed revenue for designated programs.
